You shoul know better Mike. You don'tgo saying things like "It's one'o clock and it's still running" when you work with any equipment. 🤔 I know fixing the boom would be heaps of work but you could try doing that lineboring the same way Jason poops(works) a lot and Man behind the scenes did for DP. They did it the cheap way and if it' was cheap enough for Dirt Perfect it's cheap enough for you. 😬 But on a more serious note. You know fella could spend a few bucks on new teeth for the bucket or even get a new cutting edge fot the loader bucket. Specially since your going to keep the machine and have use for it in the future. And if you put it in the video it's a tax write off. 😁

You may need a different size pulley on the alternator, the engine dosnt run fast and may not be spining the alternator fast enough, should read around 13.5

I do know with any engine the valves are not adjusted correctly if you can pull the push rod out without loosening the rocker arm.

I stopped at this point of watching to type this out. Your listing what works and can't figure out whyvit wont start. I have a briggs 16 hp doing the exact same thing and the carb is clean. So I hope you figured it out. Back to watching your video. Hopefully a happy ending lol.

🤣🤣 Here it is June of 2024 and I made a comment about the quick attach plate on the previous video. 🤷‍♂🤷‍♂

You could aways buy a quick attach plate to weld onto the forks. I remember DP had one and used it for the root rake that he and MBTS just recently built. Granted, it might cost a bit more than the materials you used for the forks. I guess it would depend on whether you want it easy or you just want to do all the fab for the fun of it and practice.

Like your attitude with the hoses, also lets face it if you changed them all, where's the excitement. Don't forget that rear bucket is self levelling, so you don't want to go and changing things. 😂 How about a plung pool, especially useful if youve worked up a sweat or dodging a swarm of wasps. 👍

Salt System 1000%. My experience is open pool, adjust salt, enjoy pool till fall! Never a chemical.That is my experience in East Tennessee for the past 10+ years.

I own a pond building business. Building backyard ponds. If you go that route I can give you some advice.

Ive said it a million times. You're awesome. You do awesome things. Every project or 5, I do wish someone would let you demo a backhoe, excavator, new shovel, to further you faster. You're worth it 100%. Carry on.

My thoughts are, and maybe you and the Admiral have already thought about it and done your research on, but state/local law as well as insurance company on designated bodies of water for swimming. Does state law require a lifeguard (maybe more than one depending on size of swimming hole/pool), what requirements are their for the safety of the water, is there a maximum/minimum depth requirement and how that affects the need of one or more life guard(s). Have you consulted your insurance agent about having a swimming hole/pool to see what their requirements might be as well as the additional cost estimate to carry insurance for having one or the other? State or local law might not require the swimming hole/pool to be fenced in to prevent a young child from entering it, but your insurance company might. I think of all of that before I think about things like the need to cover it. With a natural pool, you probably wouldn't need to worry about covering it in the winter but with a pool you would. I could probably come up with 100 more questions for you to think about if I wanted to, but those would be the top ones for me before I even considered having one. Offering a swimming option is a major liability and can ruin your family if not done right in today's sue happy world. Sorry if I am being a downer, I just wanted to give you some food for thought before you really go through with it in the event you two hadn't thought that far yet.

"Quick Attach" is a relative term and to the lay person, the compared to _______ element is lost. Even with the eccentricities of yours, it's functional and gives you a lot of capability. Thanks for bringing us along.

Swim pond would be more attractive and visually appealing especially with projected air bnb. But nobody needs nope ropes hanging around. There are repellers and things like lemon grass that can be put around to deter said ropes of nope but at the end of the day you are the one that has to deal, install and maintain what ever goes in there so it's ultimately up to you. If going with an above found pool a imitation rock type finish on the inside would help it blend it... and with an above ground pool chances are they make a cover to suit

If anything gets a bit lose get some bushing made up and use your oxy set to cut out the old one and a washer welded on the pin will save a drill bit ✌️👌

Sounds like the size of a large hot tub (for a bakers dozen), without heat, but hopefully to cool down in the summer? ;-) It's called, "Chasseing the Weakest Link". ;-D When I was a kid, originally we had a above ground swimming pool for exercise ("Legg-Perthes disease" / crutches and sling from 6 to 8), but kept it for a decade or more?

My first thought would be liability for having snakes around guests.

I'm glad someone else calls them nope ropes. I'm no critter expert, but you might get talk to one and see if there are natural things both of those snakes dislike that you could put around the pool to keep them away. A strong enough salt mix in the pool might be enough.

I like the idea of a filtration system,did you ever watch that pool builder that only used natural ways of filtration,rocks ,river stone and plants 😊

I ordered a 24’ above ground pool with a sand filter on Amazon for an about $2,200 and another $1,800 to have it installed. Food for thought.
